OMG I'm in love! Once again I have fallen completely in love with one of Adrie's babies! Paris is the re-made version of as Adrie stated her cat ruined the 1st version. The 1st version was adorable but I have to admit, the 2nd version is OFF THE HOOK! I'm so in love!

Paris by Adrie Stoete is 20 inches long. She will have 3/4 limbs. No other information is available as of yet but I'm so thrilled. The anticipation is driving me crazy! lolol

I'm always in awe every single time one of my babies sells on eBay. It means so very much to me. She sold for a WHOPPING $790. This is the 2nd highest one of my babies has sold for! I'm sooooo excited! Charisma will be sent off to her new mommy tomorrow. I hope her mommy loves her. She really is a GORGEOUS baby! Her pictures do NOT do her justice. If only I were a professional photographer lololol.

Ava Raine & Ebay...

Ok guys...I know many of you keep saying "when are you going to get Ava Raine" on eBay. The answer is, she's all done EXCEPT her photoshoot! I only use "daylight" as my lighting & the weather has been HORRIFIC! I'm not a professional photographer so I don't know how to manipulate my indoor lighting. I tried to take photos outside yesterday but they look TERRIBLE! So, just hang in there with me. I'll get her on eBay as soon as I can.

I know my girl Cindy is about to pull her hair out over this as she's waiting to put her Ava Raine up AFTER I put mine up. Unfortunately, Cindy reborns wayyyyyyyyyy faster than me. Takes me at least 2 months to finish a baby (which is much better than it used to take me) lolol.

Anyway, thanks for all the emails asking about her. I think she's a cutie!

Cindy & I have found us a new home. It won't be a "Guild" but it will be a nice place to keep in touch & everyone together. Everyone is welcome. The verdict is in...

AARAG will NOT re-open. To everyone who wants to keep in touch, Cindy has opened a forum on her web site & Natasha has opened a forum also. At the moment, I don't really feel like thinking about it all. I have a HUGE HEADACHE behind the entire thing. I guess I'm so emotional because it really didn't have to be this way. One of the ladies from AARAG called & asked me to go to BN's blog & be objective about what I was reading....

I read her blog & I completely understand her anger & where she's coming from. I even learned a huge amount information regarding key word spamming & certain rules about using brands in auctions & so forth. I didn't know any of these things previously. I'm always amazed at her talent & she will always be the 1st lady of AA reborns in my opinion. I'm asking everyone who is going over to BN & attacking her to please stop. The issue really isn't with her as any one of us would be livid if someone did such a thing to us.

I also hope that Cindy stops getting the brunt of anger from people who are mixing her auction up with Kay's. She didn't do anything but have an AA Audrey up at the wrong time.

As far as Kay goes..I haven't talked to her today but I did speak with her. She's upset behind the entire ordeal. She truly feels as if it was a big misunderstanding. I know her to be a warm & honest person & I choose to continue to believe in her as a person & respect her as my mentor. I love Kay dearly & I pray she's ok.

That being said, I do not condone unethical behavior. Wrong is WRONG & right is RIGHT..there is no "In between". Always remember that guys...

AARAG CLOSED....

Kay has decided to close the AA Guild. Not because of admitting wrong doing but because she's trying to protect everyone associated with AARAG. I admit that I suggested maybe closing the guild would be best if everyone was going rogue & down each other's throat about what happened. Maybe I spoke out of emotion for what was going on & I apologize. I hope we can find some resolution to everyone who still wants to keep in touch. We had such a diverse & AMAZING group of ladies there.

Kay taught me everything she could. She unselfishly opened the guild to try & teach me about reborning & I'll never forget it.

By the time I started reborning BN had long retired *or so I heard*... I remember seeing one of her babies posted by Lisa & I was blown away! I couldn't BELIEVE someone could make a doll look so beautiful! She's such a talented woman. I 100% agree that NOBODY should steal another person's work & claim as their own. This is not only unethical, but devastating to our very small community. BN is swearing this is her photo & I believe she truly thinks it is. My dear friend Cindy has explained that BN does not go off on tangents without reason. My beautiful mentor Kay is also standing her ground that she didnt' steal ANYTHING from BN which has led us to where we are today...

Here's why I'm angry... members have felt the need to disassociate themselves with the AARAG Guild because of these reasons:

The accusations trickled down from Kay to everybody else on the AARAG Guild which was totally unfair. Comments such as "THESE NEW ARTIST" will do anything & so forth were insulting! I for one will NOT do anything for a sale!! I work hard!! Accusations of SHILL BILLING OR BIDDING or whatever you call it was thrown out. I for one have only sold 4 babies on eBay & 2 of them were BIN!! I can understand speaking out of anger but it affected ALL of us who wore our AARAG logo proudly!!! Accusations of "stealing" names was offensive to me. Heck, it takes me FOREVER to find a name for my baby & I always ask "does she look like such & such"....I can't count how many times after I've named a baby that someone has said "I have a niece named that" or "my daughter's name is that". Is it really that serious where we're being petty about NAMES?

I think its totally unfair how the accusations have trickled down to the rest of us of AARAG! We were a small group of ladies who just wanted to learn how to make beautiful AA babies. The rest of us should not have been tarnished over this and THIS is why I'm upset this morning!

I've gotten some very supportive emails also of members wanted to keep in touch. Hopefully we can find a way to communicate. In the meantime, most of you know where you can find me or even OFFER suggestions of what you think we should do to keep our group together.

I wish Kay & Brooke Nicole the very best & my heart truly aches for BOTH of you this morning. All I can say is stay strong & ALWAYS do the RIGHT thing..even when it hurts.

Turmoil & hurt in the place I call home AARAG

Words can't express how hurt I am by whats going on in my home (AARAG). I'm saddened by this entire ordeal. I pray things work out the way that they are supposed to. I'm praying for BOTH parties involved as I look up to both of them. I hope that things can be resolved soon....

UPDATE:

I'm being bombarded by evil emails of people accusing all members of AARAG of being fake & not having integrity. Even some of our own members are fighting. I feel as if I"m losing my family. One of my BEST friends Cindy of Cindy's Reborn Nursery is getting hurt also thru this. This isn't FAIR! I am honest & kind & work VERY hard!! We should all be judged on our own merit.

Honesty & Integrity mean everything...

I haven't been reborning long, but one thing I've learned is that honesty & integrity comes from within. It's not anything you can learn. It's bred in you. These last few weeks have been difficult to say the least for me & my dear friend & mentor Cindy of Cindy's Reborn Nursery. Cindy has been in the reborn community for well over 4 years. She's an AMAZING artist & has taught me EVERYTHING she knows. A couple weeks ago, people accused her of "copying" my Michelle reborn. People told her that SHE paints like ME.. It hurt her & it definitely hurt me because she's been so kind & generous to teach me every single thing she knows. She did this without expecting ANYTHING in return. She made an entry about it on her blog here. In all honesty, our babies look NOTHING alike, but because we both do AA babies, I guess people tend to say they look alike. I just have to say that I'm HONORED to be compared to such a brilliant Artist, but I wanted it to be known that it is ME who strives to be like her. I am so thankful to have met her & to call her one of my very good friends.

I also wanted to talk about being HONEST in the reborn world. This world is so small that everything can & WILL come back to haunt you. So be good to others, have INTEGRITY in your work & stand behind your work. Make sure that the baby you sell represents what the baby really looks like, be kind to your customers & invite them to tell you when they're not satisfied and LISTEN to their concerns with open ears. Be kind to others, you don't have to knock someone down in order to succeed. Kindness goes a long ways. Also, always tell the truth. If you make a mistake, admit to it. WE ALL MAKE THEM..its just a matter of learning from them.

Kit of the week...BLUEBELLE by Romie Strydom

I fell COMPLETELY in love with this little one's face. So much, that I actually purchased 3 OF THEM!! Jealousy in the reborn world...

I've been holding back on speaking on this for a while. But I must say that its time. What happened to the times where people would REJOICE in the success of others? What happened to the times where people tried to HELP lift you up instead of beat you down *the crabs in a barrel syndrome*. What happened to the days where you KNEW who your enemies were & you KNEW who your friends were? Now..they're all mixed together. It's sad, but the days of old are gone. No longer can you trust the "friend" whose rooting for you in your face is actually behind your back trying to stab you in it.

I've often thought about what makes someone be evil towards another. Is it jealousy or egos or just plain evilness?

I don't have an evil bone in my body. I love everyone, I root for everyone & I hope EVERYONE succeeds. I just wish more people were like that. I for one, will continue to wish everyone success & happiness..even the person who hurt my friends feelings.

So now, I'm off to spread happiness..

Decisions, Decisions...what needles should you use?

Ok, so I took this information from RAD an amazing Guild that I belong to. These ladies are VERY helpful & gave me permission to share. Some of you have already seen this information & thanks so much for your input on this particular thread because it helped me so much!

Star.... (the stem is a cross formation with 2 barbs to each face randomly placed = 8 barbs )
Crown ..( the stem is a triangular formation with 3 barbs all at the same level 1/4" from the tip )

So...have you decided which needles YOU would prefer? I still have my favorite...The steady 42 gauge 1 barb. I can't for the life of me get the forked needles to work & the others I don't particularly like. But its a PREFERENCE... So..be adventurous & make your OWN decision. What works for you, may not work for another.

NEED TO VENT! Harmoni Joy isn't home yet! UGHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm so sick of the post office not delivering like they're supposed to!! We pay MORE to have packages shipped by priority mail & its really ticking me off that NONE of the packages I shipped last week have arrived to their destination within the 2 to 3 days as promoted!! I called to post office to inquire & they had the NERVE to tell me that the 2 to 3 days ISN'T guaranteed! They went ON to say that even SECOND DAY delivery isn't guaranteed & that the ONLY guaranteed packages are NEXT DAY SHIPPING! I'm so FRUSTRATED! NO APOLOGIES, NOT SYMPATHY, NO NOTHING!! All they keep saying is "we're short staffed ma'am"...

THEN TO TOP IT OFF!! They aren't even scanning the package. I know its not a TRACKING #, but this is ridiculous!

I'm about to take my business to UPS! I'm SICK of it!!

Waiting to see if the new mommy will like her new baby is the HARDEST part for me. I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs on pins & needles ALONG WITH the new mom who is on pins & needles waiting to receive her new bundle. Thank God Harmoni's mom is patient!

I WON! I WON! Blonde baby contest

I have to tell you that things are going GREAT this month! Not only did my Harmoni Joy sell for an amazing price but I just found out that my 1st & only Caucasian baby won the blonde baby contest in the intermediate artist department! I'm smiling from ear to ear.

Let me just tell you that "Spring" *thats her name*, was so scary to reborn. I had never even thought about doing a Caucasian baby but a co-worker asked me to make one for her daughter. She came out "ok" & I know I would do alot better now but it still feels AWESOME! Thanks RAD!! Woooo Hoooooooooo!!

RAD Moon Baby Club!! YAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok..I am just having a great week. As most of you know, I'm a member of Reborn Artist of Distinction (RAD). I'm striving really hard to become an Advanced Artist there. At the moment I'm an Intermediate Artist but I absolutely LOVE it there. The Artists are AMAZING!! Well..today, I was inducted into the "Moon Baby Club"...Little ole me!! I'm so excited & I'm going to wear my badge proudly! Here's my logo! GO ME! GO ME! GO ME!!

OMG! AM I DREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's every Reborn Artists dream to sell a baby & actually receive what they put into a baby. I'm elated to share that That's EXACTLY what happened with my Harmoni Joy. Not only did she sell, but she went OVER THE MOON for me. She sold for a WHOPPING $2,589!!! Up until now, I hadn't had a baby sell for over $800. Don't get me wrong, I was over the moon about selling an $800 baby but NEVER in my wildest dreams did I expect any baby made by me to sell for TWO THOUSAND PLUS dollars! My adrenaline is still rushing! I'm still sitting on top of the world & it feels as if I'm dreaming! I don't ever want to wake up from this dream.

I worked so hard on Harmoni Joy *Michelle kit by Evelina Wosnjuk*... I took my time & took chances on her that I had never taken before. I wasn't scared of "messing up a kit" for the very first time in my reborning history..and it felt GOOD! I took extra special time with her photo shoot. I wanted it to be special. I had mishaps because it was raining cats & dogs & I didn't have the best lighting but I hoped & prayed that whoever viewed her would see that I put in ALOT of effort to show Harmoni Joy's true appearance.
